Sadly, “Anonymous” has a valid point here. The winning project is likely to be the one with the potential to make the most money for the major stakeholders, rather than the one that makes the most financial, engineering and ecological sense.

Either way, “Anonymous”, I hope you get your wish to move to Israel.

Guys, you're missing a key point: Whatever happens needs to be commercially viable.

The glamourised project has the potential to make a lot of money to all concerned, and this would pay for all the "improvements".

I'm not against your proposal, it's just that it is an Israeli taxpayer funded one. Either way, it could be a reason for me to move to Israel (I'm in construction project management).

Hi,
Interesting idea to connect the Med and the Kinneret. I think it will serve a different role in the region’s water situation.
Let’s hope any of the projects pick up and move to be more than an important plan…

I liked your proposal, it does make better sense to me. Plus, I don’t like the way every consider desert to be desolate and barren. It isn’t.
